Cyber-bullying not only happens on the internet through social media websites or chat rooms, but it also happens through cell phones, either in the form of text messages or phone calls. There is now an App meant to protect children from cyber-bullying through text messages.
Word Bully filters out mean words and phrases that fall within a 3,600 word filtering test. It also allows parents to customize their filter test by adding additional words and phrases. If a text message is sent to your child’s phone that triggers the filtering test, the text message is automatically sent to your phone along with the time it was received and the phone number of the sender. Parents can then decide if they want to get involved.
Word Bully is good for parents who are worried about their child being bullied by others and is another way to put an end to bullying.
